Here's the teaser for the anthology:
Echoes of yesterday touch the lives of ordinary people in extraordinary ways in 19 provocative stories by some of the best up-and-coming authors of mainstream and speculative fiction around the world.
There's more about how the book came to be on my blog, as well as a dedicated page devoted to the book and authors.
One (1) copy will be awarded through a random draw from everyone who leaves a comment below. Saying nice things won't increase your chances (though we'd love to hear it if you've got it!), so just leaving "Me!" or "I'm in" along with an identifiable name is enough.
Two (2) copies will be awarded through a random draw to two lovely readers who make mention of the book in any form of social media (twitter, facebook, blog, etc) and leave a link to any of the following sites. Put in the comment where you left the mention.

- Amazon US Extinct page: http://tinyurl.com/extinctantho
- Amazon UK Extinct page: http://tinyurl.com/extinctantho-uk
- B&N Extinct page: http://tinyurl.com/extinctantho-bn
Winners will be announced here and on Phoenix's blog by noon on Thursday US Central Time.
Oh, boy! Here I am!
ReplyDeleteI've got a copy but I'd love another one to give away. Also, I twittered and will facebook :)
ReplyDeleteHi, it's me! Congrats on the book!
ReplyDeleteI just posted a link on facebook, too!
ReplyDeleteI don't know how tired you were, but the word "fiction" isn't in the word search puzzle.
ReplyDeleteUnless that's what makes it evil?
It's there; it's just that the letters aren't organized consecutively. Think of the word as a metaphor for a novel that's poorly organized.
ReplyDelete@AA: Interestingly, the tool autogenerates a NEW puzzle each time. Or at least I've gotten a couple of different versions. "Fiction" was the last word I entered into the mix, so maybe I went over on number of characters or something. I didn't see "fiction" in either puzzle -- consecutively -- either, so I'll delete it from the list. But hey, you can play this at least a couple of times and it'll be different each time! -- Thanks!
ReplyDeleteA lot of these tools do that. They kick off a word if they can't fit it in. It's more challenging if there are words you can't find, of course.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteWhoo-hoo, long may this anthology last before it finally goes the way of the Dodo bird...

P.S. I LJ'd (http://mlerules.livejournal.com/962945.html) & FB'd it. :-)
@AA Also, no matter how hard you search, you can't find a second occurrence of a word you've already found.
ReplyDelete(Yes, I'm tired this morning.)
Also, did y'all know that "deus" is "sued" spelled backwards?
Loved "Too Close For Comfort" Hope to see more of Kyle Aisteach's work.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mom! :)
ReplyDeletehere is a lovely note - and I can hardly wait to read it. I love Kyle Aisteach's writing!
ReplyDeleteAnthology now pimped on my blog!
ReplyDeleteI've just posted to fb. And that "easy" slider, um, took me a while to figure out...
ReplyDelete"Too Close for Comfort" is a good read. I look forward to reading more from Kyle.
ReplyDeleteI've posted the link to my FB page. Best of luck to all of the authors.
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone!
ReplyDeleteKyle Aisteach? THE Kyle Aisteach?
ReplyDelete@Evil Editor, I'd argue "The one and only." There's an upside to having a name that only Gaelic speakers can spell... :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, Karen, I'm with you. I'm scared to try the others.
ReplyDeleteYum. It's on my blog and on FB and Twitter, but...
