Double Launch Party!

Extinct Doesn't Mean Forever AND Evil Editor Teaches School

Two books that start with "E" -- how cool is that?

Thanks for dropping by! We have several contests for you and lots of prizes, so settle in.

CONTESTS: Click on the Contests links in the sidebar or scroll down to find out how you can win one of three (yes, 3!) copies of the Extinct anthology, one of three (yes, 3!) copies of  the Evil Editor Cartoon DVD, one copy (yes, 1!) of Novel Deviations from Evil Editor Publications, and other prizes from friends of the books.

GAMES: Check out the puzzle links in the side bar. Don't let the "easy" and "medium difficulty" tags fool you. These babies are challenging -- set aside several minutes to play!

COMMENTS: Are open. Mingle! Ask questions! Introduce yourselves! Tell us what you're working on! The authors will be dropping by when they can (we have several authors in places far flung from the US), so feel free to leave them a comment or question at any time. Our celebrity Guest of Honor, Evil Editor, might even make a comment or two himself.

Mingle in the comments to this post, please. Leave your contest entries under the appropriate posts. Entry rules can be found in their respective posts.

  5. Why do these things always happen when I have to run an all-day offsite at Day Job? I'll try to sneak out a few times, or pretend to doze off when I'm actually looking at this site on my blackberry.

  6. What IS it with me and comments lately?? I just left one here a minute ago - and no comment shows up. Darn. Anyway - woo hoo!! So cool!!!

I already have a copy of EE's new one, and I'm ordering Extinct now!

  7. @Peter: I checked your calendar before scheduling this. Wouldn't want to ruin a perfect run by scheduling on an off day for you.

@Robin: Whirl emailed me and said he couldn't comment on this site at all. May be some glitches with Google. I'll keep an eye on the spam catcher too in case comments are getting trapped.

  9. Hi, folks! I'm one of the authors who hasn't decided that this pub credit makes him too big to mingle with the riffraff. :)

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by! I'm sure my fellow authors and I will be stopping in periodically, so feel free to chat us up!

  14. @Steve: I think Karen drank it all trying to do the puzzles. They only work if you drink copious amounts.

  15. AH is that what I'm doing wrong? I have red wine and am trying again.

  16. (There's plenty if you come sit with me, Steve, as long as you don't mind cheap Spanish red)

  18. Congratulations on launch. Great party!

I've already downloaded the anthology. It's also been tweeted, put on facebook and is on today and Friday's blog.

I wish I had more time for the games.

  20. Hi, I'm one of the authors. This is my idea of a great launch party - no speeches, and the food, booze and music is exactly the type I enjoy.

  21. @Kay: How sweet! Thank you for the support, and wishing you tons of game-playing time in your future ;o)

@Paca! It HAS been a long time since we've seen your furry face around here (well, not specifically HERE because this site didn't even exist 24 hours ago, but in the blogosphere in general), though I suspect you're here because of EE's new book and not because of Extinct and anyone you might know in it.

I guess this means our Australian and New Zealand friends are awake now!

    Go. Enter contests. Win books.
